The First General Meeting of the 2019-2020 Academic Year Takes Place

The first general meeting of the 2019-2020 academic year took place on November 22, 2019 where our Rector Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk shared the state of the university with our faculty and staff. Organized in the AB3 Auditorium, this year’s general meeting was once again a great opportunity to welcome new members to the OzU family and celebrate Teachers’ Day together.

Beginning her remarks with a general review of the 2018-2019 academic year we left behind, Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk went on providing in-depth information about the university’s strategic plans and new undertakings for the 2018-2023 term. Prof. Dr. Gençtürk’s address was followed by a Q&A session where Prof. Dr. Gençtürk answered the questions of our faculty and staff.
