We welcomed Fazıl Say on Campus

The world-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say gave a special concert to the students and members of Özyeğin University in celebration of the 10th anniversary of our University’s foundation. The concert took place in the Athletic Center on our Çekmeköy Campus under the auspices of the Rector’s Office. Mr. Hüsnü Özyeğin, Chair of our Board of Trustees, honored us with his presence, while Mr. Fazıl Say delighted the audience with his compositions “Troja Sonata” and “Izmir Suite”.

This valuable and special gathering was the crown of a series of special events planned in celebration of Özyeğin University’s 10th  anniversary. A cherished gift by Fazıl Say to the students of Özyeğin University, the concert was attended by an enthusiastic audience of nearly 2,500 people.
