Özyeğin University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of Students. The appointment will take effect on July 15, 2026. We are seeking a visionary, student-centered, and collaborative leader who will strengthen student development, engagement, and well-being in alignment with the University’s commitment to transformative education and global impact.

As Özyeğin University continues to position itself as a globally recognized entrepreneurial research university centered on student transformation and excellence in education and campus experience, the Dean of Students will play a pivotal role in shaping a holistic, inclusive, and high-quality student journey.

The Dean provides strategic leadership for student development and campus life, including psychological support services, student clubs and engagement, peer advising and volunteer programs, international exchange and mobility, and the coordination of the University’s student support services across academic and administrative units. The role is central to ensuring that students feel safe, valued, and supported throughout their academic journey and that the overall university experience reflects the highest standards of quality and care.

Working closely with academic and administrative units, the Dean contributes to strengthening innovative and personalized learning environments by reinforcing the co-curricular, social, and developmental dimensions that complement academic excellence. The Dean also supports initiatives that foster responsible global citizenship, leadership development, international engagement, and strong lifelong ties between students, alumni, and the University community.

The Dean represents the student perspective in university-wide governance and committees; contributes to quality assurance and accreditation processes; monitors key indicators such as engagement, retention, satisfaction, and graduation; and develops data-informed initiatives to continuously enhance student success and institutional impact.

Candidates must hold a PhD and have a strong record of academic and/or professional achievement, together with substantial leadership experience in higher education, student affairs, or related areas. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex structures, and foster inclusive and equitable campus environments is essential.
