Özyeğin University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The appointment will take effect on July 15, 2026. We are seeking an accomplished, innovative, and collaborative leader who will foster academic excellence, strengthen research impact, and advance the Faculty’s contribution to transformative education and global engagement.

As the chief academic and administrative officer of the Faculty, the Dean will provide strategic direction, promote innovation, and strengthen connections with national and international academic partners, research institutions, and relevant public and private sector stakeholders. The successful candidate will shape the Faculty’s academic and research priorities, cultivate an inclusive and collegial environment that promotes excellence in teaching, research, and service, and oversee the Faculty’s budget, personnel, and operational processes to ensure sustainability and growth while aligning the Faculty’s goals with the mission and vision of Özyeğin University.

Candidates must possess a distinguished academic record that qualifies them for appointment as a full professor. They should demonstrate a proven track record of research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scholarly impact. Significant leadership experience in academic administration, such as serving as a department chair, associate dean, or an equivalent role, is highly desirable.

Nominations and applications should include a detailed curriculum vitae, a cover letter outlining the candidate’s qualifications, leadership experience, and vision for the Faculty, and contact information for at least three professional references.
