Our President Prof. Barış Tan Meets with EOEP Scholars

Özyeğin University President Prof. Barış Tan convened with the 2024 Scholars of the Equal Opportunities in Education Scholarship Program (EOEP) during the traditional “President’s Meeting” at L’Atelier Bleu Restaurant. Held on December 9, 2024, the event provided Prof. Tan with a valuable opportunity to connect with 22 EOEP scholars who joined Özyeğin University in the 2024-2025 Academic Year, sparking a delightful and inspiring conversation about their transformative journeys.

In his speech, Prof. Tan highlighted the significance of the Equal Opportunities in Education Scholarship Program, remarking: “We launched the Equal Opportunities in Education Scholarship Program in 2015 with our unwavering commitment to social responsibility, and the valuable contributions of our donors. I am proud to announce that, as of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, the number of our EOEP scholars, including all of you here today, has reached 224. Representing 129 high schools across 39 provinces in Türkiye, our exceptional EOEP scholars chose Özyeğin University thanks to their remarkable achievements. Harnessed with a world-class, transformative university education, along with diverse and enriching experiences, our EOEP scholars have embraced entrepreneurial and research-driven mindsets. I firmly believe that with your achievements, we will elevate Özyeğin University’s values and international standing to new heights.”
